Conventional construction accounts for roughly 40% of global CO₂ emissions. H.0.ME. was founded to prove that building better is entirely possible — and that “better” means healthier, more beautiful and more enduring.
We are a bespoke construction and consultancy atelier for prestige properties, based in Avellino. We design and build with a timber frame and hemp-lime walls, using the certified Hemp Eco Systems (Switzerland) construction system — 25 years of research and development, now available in Italy.
We do not build in series. Every project begins with deep listening: to the client, the site, the light. We bring together engineering, architectural and research expertise to provide comprehensive consultancy — from the first conversation to final sign-off.

It pairs a timber load-bearing frame with walls of a hemp-hurd, lime and natural mineral biocomposite (HES-mix), cast in situ as a monolithic wall — with no joints and no thermal bridges. The result is a natural, breathable, highly insulating, CE-certified wall.
Yes. The biocomposite has a CE-certified B-s1-d0 fire reaction class, and the timber load-bearing frame is inherently light and ductile, making it well suited to Italy’s seismic zones.
At 35 cm of HES-mix in climate zone D it reaches energy class A4. The material absorbs CO₂ across the building’s whole life cycle (hemp sequesters carbon as it grows), making it carbon-negative — with zero cement.
Yes — we act as a General Contractor for international investors building or renovating prestige properties in Italy. Payments are protected through a notary deposit and escrow tied to construction milestones (SAL), released by an independent surveyor, with a single point of contact for the whole project.
We are based in Campania (Avellino) and operate throughout Italy, with a focus on areas with strong international appeal: the Amalfi Coast, Cilento, Salento, Tuscany/Tuscia, Marche and Monferrato.
Yes. Beyond new builds, we renovate fine properties and ruins with natural materials: the HES-Wall render is applied over masonry, concrete, stone and plasterboard and is ideal for remediating rising damp.
