At the heart of every H.0.ME. building lies the HES-mix biocomposite, born from the union of three natural elements: hemp shiv (the woody core of the hemp stalk), hydrated lime and HES-Plus, a mineral additive of volcanic origin patented within the Hemp Eco Systems process.

Unlike bricks or prefabricated blocks, HES-mix is cast in place: the mixture is poured into formwork around the load-bearing timber structure, giving rise to a monolithic, continuous wall with no joints and no thermal bridges. It is a craftsman’s gesture, tailored to each building.

The result is an envelope that breathes: it naturally regulates internal humidity between 50 and 55%, insulates with a thermal conductivity of around 0.048 W/(m·K) (at 320 mm of thickness in climate zone D it reaches energy class A4) and absorbs CO₂ throughout its life cycle. The lime, moreover, recovers from the environment up to 60% of the CO₂ released during its production.

A 100% natural material, free of cement, synthetic fibres and VOCs, with a fire reaction of class B-s1-d0 certified CE. Technology at the service of people, not the other way around.
